Tower Technician II

Perform daily construction duties to ensure quality and expedited commercial service deployment as directed by the Superintendent or Foreman. Responsibilities include:

Conducting tower construction activities like assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas and hardware, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.

Reading and interpreting plans, site plans, and tower drawings.

Installing, connecting, and testing both underground and above-ground grounding systems.

Completing work efficiently and on time by planning, prioritizing, and mobilizing staff and materials.

Keeping the Foreman informed about construction progress, concerns, and deviations from plans or schedules.

Identifying all materials and resources needed for project completion.

Creating and completing a construction "punch list" for items to be fixed before customer inspection.

Upholding SBA and OSHA safety practices, performing daily safety inspections on-site before operating equipment.
